Prompt Fulfilled:
Book with a wedding
Stars:
4 / 5
Synopsis:
Wedding bells are ringing for Belly and Jeremiah! Despite being nineteen years old, the two are desperate to show their commitment for each other through the bonds of holy matrimony in light of Jeremiah’s big mistake. However, not everyone shares their excitement. Belly’s mom is refusing to interact with her in any way, forcing Belly to do all her wedding planning at Cousins Beach, where a former flame happens to be. The close proximity sparks old feelings between Belly and Conrad and leaves her thinking if she’s marrying the right Fisher?
Thoughts:
- Didn’t necessarily like Jeremiah’s personality in this novel (felt that the choices he made were a sharp contrast from the previous books)
- Enjoyed Conrad’s perspective - it added depth to the plot that wouldn’t have been accomplished through Belly’s point of view
- So many conflicting emotions over the course of the book :)))
- A fitting end to a cute series!
Recommendations:
For readers who enjoy (ed):
- the first two books
- reading about random professions of love
- reading about protagonists who have conflicting feelings towards two significant love interests
