Prompt Fulfilled:
Book told from multiple points of view
Stars:
3 ½ / 5
Synopsis:
Belly isn’t excited for summer. Not after Susannah started losing her hair to chemo and Conrad started to lose interest. If Belly had her way, she’d never go back to Cousins Beach. But when Jeremiah calls to say that Conrad has disappeared, she knows that she has to swallow her own feelings in order to find him and make things right. Although, along the way, Belly realizes that maybe she was looking for love in the wrong place.
Thoughts:
- Was probably my least favourite book of the series
- Some plot points weren’t a surprise based off of the first book
Recommendations:
Readers who:
- enjoyed the first book
- enjoy reading about love triangles
- are okay with reading about characters that aren’t perfect
